At the foot of the Vercors mountain range and close to numerous cycle routes, Valsoyo offers a chance to rest during your journey. Just 20 minutes from Valence, set in a 7-hectare park, enjoy our 13 unique accommodation options where you can settle in and take a breather.

The Cycling Refuge

On arrival at Valsoyo, the hotel team will show you our “cycle shelter”, a 15 m² shed that can accommodate up to 16 bikes at a time. To recharge your bike’s battery, there are 8 electrical sockets available inside the shed.

It is directly accessible by car from the rear of the hotel and just a few steps away from our other unique accommodation options. This area is secured by a digital code.

Whether indoors or outdoors, you can repair, inflate, recharge, clean and pamper your bike!

For your comfort, all our accommodation is equipped with a kitchen and designed to make your cycling stopover a truly relaxing and escapist experience.

We offer breakfast served in your room or as a buffet, but we’re also flexible to ensure early risers don’t set off on an empty stomach.

If you’d like a takeaway breakfast, please let us know when you book or upon arrival at the hotel. We offer a small selection of meals made using recipes prepared in jars. The estate does not yet have a restaurant, but the team will be happy to recommend a restaurant in the local area.

You can relax in peace and quiet or try one of our leisure activities.

Cycling routes departing from Valsoyo

The Drôme boasts cycle routes and greenways (ViaRhôna, Vélodrôme, Belle Via), 3,600 km of road cycling routes and 6,300 km of signposted mountain bike trails, making it one of France’s most diverse cycling destinations.

From Valsoyo, enjoy a variety of cycle routes passing through the village of Upie as you set off to explore the Drôme Valley.

You can also go on family bike rides of varying lengths, with different levels of difficulty depending on the sort of outing you’re after: whether you’re looking for a challenging ride or a relaxing one…
