Drôme, on the way to your holidays

The Drôme, known for its picturesque landscapes, stands out for its remarkable accessibility. At the heart of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region, this département offers connectivity that makes it easy for everyone to get around.

 

The A7 motorway crosses the Drôme from north to south. You’ll often hear people talking about the Drôme as a popular stop-off point during major holiday periods.

 

With Valence TGV station and Valence Ville station, rail accessibility is one of Drôme’s major assets. Linking Paris in just 2h30, it represents a gateway to the South of France. The proximity of Valence Ville station offers travellers a multitude of options for regional journeys.

 

Located 40 minutes from Lyon and Grenoble, 2 hours from Paris and 2 hours from Marseille by TGV, our destination offers easy access from the major cities on the North/South axis.

 

Bordered by the Rhône, the Valence conurbation also boasts a tourist river stop with the new dynamic port of Epervière.

 

For the more sporty and adventurous, the Viarhôna is a cycle path that runs along the Drôme. Cycle along the Rhône at your own pace to discover the Drôme in a different way.

 

 

Chabeuil airport, just 15 minutes from Valence and Upie, is available to companies to bring your groups to our destination. It also offers private or tourist flights to access or fly over the Drôme.
